Looking for a sovereign AI solution for Europe? We estimate that about 95% of all businesses using AI today use ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini. But this is changing. Business leaders and governments are worried about sharing critical IP with the US-based frontier labs, as it's uncertain how the data is used for training and improvements. Especially if the team is using free licences.
At the same time, the cost of team and enterprise licences is going up, as the frontier labs rely on business customers to make money.
Chinese open-weight models are one option, but they usually mean setups that are complex to set up and maintain.
Beyond Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Business and Claude Team, Langdock has had success by being an early company to offer European sovereign AI, through Microsoft Azure. But since the beginning of this year, the European company P30, co-founded by AI pioneer Magnus Jern, has been offering a strong contender, with more focus on team collaboration, making it easy for teams to create agents and automations without technical knowledge, artifacts and more.

Where each one is stronger
Langdock is the more established choice for large organisations with strict compliance requirements: it already holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, it has desktop apps, and it works in German today.
P30 is built for teams that want to work together with AI rather than one person at a time: shared workspaces and memory, agents and automations that anyone can create, ready-made apps and artifacts, side-by-side model comparison, and onboarding done with you. And for small and mid-sized teams, a single team price is usually cheaper than paying per seat.
Include both in your evaluation
If you are evaluating a sovereign AI solution for Europe, include both Langdock and P30. Run the same two or three real use cases in each for two weeks, and ask:
- Which models run in the EU, and which of them does your team actually need?
- Which certifications does your security or procurement team require today?
- Who sets it up with you, and how long until the team uses it every day?
- What does it cost at your team size, including add-ons and usage limits?
- How well does it work for the team, not just for one person: shared work, memory, agents?
